Terms of Service — Saltwater Camp

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Saltwater Camp online storefront at https://saltwater-camp.com.au and any related pages, and any purchase of products through that storefront. By browsing or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

Saltwater Camp (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an Australian digital storefront selling camping and beach gear. Products are fulfilled by Australian warehouse partners. ABN 17 803 069 287. Support is available via our Contact form only (no public email address is listed on this site). Location: Australia.

2. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) in Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) or other applicable consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.

3. Products and pricing

All prices are shown in Australian dollars (AUD) unless stated otherwise and include GST where applicable. We may update prices, product descriptions, and availability at any time. Product images are illustrative; colours and finishes may vary slightly.

4. Orders and fulfilment

Placing an order is an offer to buy. We may accept or decline an order (for example if an item is unavailable or pricing is incorrect). Once accepted, products are fulfilled from Australian warehouse partners. Metro delivery typically aims for 2–5 business days after dispatch; regional and remote deliveries may take longer. Delivery timeframes are estimates, not guarantees.

5. Shipping and risk

Shipping options, costs, and any restrictions are described on our Shipping page. Title and risk in goods pass in accordance with applicable law and our shipping arrangements with warehouse partners and carriers.

6. Returns and refunds

Our returns process is set out on our Returns & refunds page. Your ACL rights (including guarantees as to acceptable quality, fitness for purpose, and matching description) are not affected by any voluntary returns window we offer.

7. Website use

You must not misuse the storefront (including attempting unauthorised access, scraping that harms the service, or interfering with security). Content on the site (text, branding, layout) is owned by us or our licensors and may not be copied for commercial use without permission.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, and subject always to the ACL and other non-excludable rights:

  • we provide the storefront on an “as is” and “as available” basis;
  • we are not liable for delays caused by warehouse partners, carriers, or events outside our reasonable control;
  • where liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, our liability for goods is limited to (at our option) replacement, repair, or refund of the purchase price, and for services to resupply or the cost of resupply.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or death/personal injury caused by negligence where such limitation is prohibited by law.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page. Continued use of the storefront after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
